About Melissa Suits

Melissa has been riding since the age of seven and has been teaching and training for 25 years. She is the Dressage Trainer at Three Lessons Farm in Broadalbin, NY. She is an FEI rider and trainer that has earned her USDF bronze and silver medals, holds a BS in Equine Science from Centenary College, and continues to keep up with her equine education. Melissa has had the fortunate opportunity to train with experts in dressage including Kathy Connelly, Heather Mason, Tom Noone, Bill Woods, Kathy Rowse, and Jennifer Baumert. 

She has taught at several farms in the Capital District, NY and is willing to help you in your dressage adventure, whether it be for pleasure or competition. Melissa believes in teaching a balanced position to help the horse become a better athlete.

My daughter and her Lusitano gelding have been in training with Melissa for two years. During this time, Melissa carefully and consistently developed him into a fit and happy dressage horse, while developing my daughter as a rider.
